Macs!! Why you remove your power sockets!

It certainly shows how helpless I can become without technology... without wearing a watch I cant tell the time. Without my phone i cant contact the rest of the world without having to expand energy on vocal chords. Almost got lost while trying to find the MRT at gardens by the bay cuz i didnt have GPS at my disposal... I would like to learn things of old like reading the stars or sundials. I should train to be a better cavemun should times like such happen again.

Long Gone

I realised I haven't been here for a long, long time. Anyway.

IT'S 107 DAYS to the Japan Trip!!

Budgeting has been going well. Accomodation for the trip has been reduced to slightly over SGD$300, even with a one night stay at a Ryokan! A very cheap one at that, at SGD$67 a night. No cool outdoor bath though.

Anyway, nothing will be confirmed until I can actually book the rooms and it's still too early. But yes. $300++ for accomodation for 15 days in Japan I think is quite impressive! I must have missed out something...

Need to go for lecture soon so I shall just end abruptly.

freaking huge spider

This morning I saw a freakin huge spider. I've never seen such a huge furry spider running around on staircases before yo.

It was a good 8-9 centimetres long. you can spot it from miles.

Hopefully it means good luck for my paper this morning...

Lizards are not my kind of dessert

Omg last time it was ants. And now it's lizards?? I tell you, i never really had a problem with them before when i merely observed them crawling across walls far away from interfering with my life in any way. Never had a problem, no. UNTIL one of them decided to spring out upon me while i was upon my knees moping the floor of my hostel with a humble wet wipe seeing as i had no mop! That smelly opportunist just had to get me at that moment and wriggle between my limbs to hop into another chest of drawers and hide! From then on i never looked at lizards quite the same and yes, I have a big problem of them being around. Disturbing me in my sleep with their tsk-ing noises...

And now! here is one! The first one to appear in this new room of mine! And a baby one!! Even more gross. Crawled down the wall right in front of my face and is now hiding among the clutter on my table. i have no wish to provoke it as i hope very much we can share a peaceful relationship, it doing its thing and i doing mine. (I cant help but notice its tail swirling up above my cookie tin can every now and then though...)

Well lizard, please disappear with all peacefulness and all will be well once again in this room.
